Dr. Liang Junbin Dr. Liang Junbin Chairman, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Liang Junbin, Chairman, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Sun Yat-sen University and an EMBA from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). He has over 15 years of experience in research, management, and commercialization in the gene technology industry. Dr. Liang Junbin founded Annoroad Gene Technology as a co-founder, having previously held research and technology transfer positions at the Guangdong Academy of Sciences and BGI Genomics. He has been recognized with municipal and district-level talent titles in Guangzhou, and has also been recognized as a Leading Talent in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area. Dr. Liang Junbin is also the inventor of more than 100 invention patents.

Dr. Xiao Zhendong Dr. Xiao Zhendong Executive Director and Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Xiao Zhendong, Executive Director and Chief Technology Officer, holds a doctoral degree with a background in both biotechnology and computer science. He previously served as a researcher and doctoral supervisor at Sun Yat-sen University, and was selected as an Outstanding Young Talent under Sun Yat-sen University's "Hundred Talents Plan" and a core member of the Pearl River Talent Plan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Team. Dr. Xiao Zhendong is an expert in RNA research and bioinformatics; before returning to China, he conducted postdoctoral training at MD Anderson Cancer Center in the United States.

Dr. Huang Junjiu Dr. Huang Junjiu Executive Director and Chief Scientific Advisor

Dr. Huang Junjiu, Executive Director and Chief Scientific Advisor, is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Sun Yat-sen University and an internationally renowned gene editing scientist and stem cell researcher. He serves as a member of the Academic Committee of the Gene Editing Branch of the Genetics Society of China, Standing Committee Member of the Gene Editing Technology Branch of the China Medicinal Biotechnology Association, and Vice Chairman of the Guangdong Thalassemia Professional Committee. In 2015, Professor Huang Junjiu's team reported the world's first use of gene editing technology to repair the disease-causing gene of human β-thalassemia, and Dr. Huang was named to Nature's 10 that year.
